Golf Prep League Runner-Up

Loehr '28 earns VPL Player of the Year.
The varsity golf team's valiant effort came up just short placing second at the Prep League Championship Tuesday, May 5.

The team shot 297 just two strokes behind champion Woodberry Forest.

Brayden Loehr '28 lit Old Trail Golf Course on fire with a scorching 1-under 71. His effort tied him with a WFS golfer for player-of-the-year honors.

Charles Lange '26 wasn't far behind with a 1-over 73. Andrew Ernst '27 also had a strong day, carding a 4-over 76. Lange and Ernst earned All-Prep League honors.

Jamie Bliley '27 (77) also scored for StC. Michael Sleeker '27 (81) and Benjamin Gates '30 (82) also competed at Preps.

The team celebrates Senior Day Wednesday, May 6 versus Christchurch at Willow Oaks at 4 pm, then will turn its focus back to the playoffs and the state VISAA tournament on Monday, May 11 at 8:30 am at Williamsburg National.
