The environment at St. Christopher's makes it exciting and comfortable for boys to pursue their interest in the arts from JK-12.

Music classes integrated into the curriculum through Middle School morph into a myriad of Upper School electives, from a songwriting workshop to AP Music Theory.

Early instruction focuses on training the musical ear and finding rhythm, matching pitches and finding a singing voice. Choirs, string groups, bands, a chamber orchestra, and a Lower School hand bell choir create a full complement of offerings through all divisions.

Private Music Lessons

In addition to JK - 12th grade classroom and ensemble music, St. Christopher’s offers the opportunity for students to study specific instruments privately for an additional fee. Members of the music faculty and adjunct instructors offer private instruction within the school’s music department. Lessons are based on teacher availability and offered on a first come, first served basis. Scheduling occurs in consultation with families, instructors, and the private lesson coordinator.
