Our Commitment to Boys

While the needs and interests of our boys have changed over time, our commitment to preparing them for lives of honor and integrity, service and leadership has never wavered. Unrestricted giving to The St. Christopher’s Fund provides School leadership with the flexibility to respond to those changes while adhering to the foundational way in which we approach education.

Annual giving is one of the ways we ask all alumni, parents, grandparents and friends of the School to participate in our commitment to providing an exceptional education for the boys in our care. A strong annual giving program is a signal of the strength of our community and a demonstration of its confidence in the School’s mission and leadership.

Annual gifts to The St. Christopher’s Fund

represent between 6% and 7% of our operating budget each year and touch everything that we do, including:

Affordability

Annual giving reduces our reliance on annual tuition increases.

The School’s budget is set each year following a clear set of principles that include maintaining family affordability while supporting the School’s mission, vision and value proposition. Annual gifts to The St. Christopher’s Fund help promote long-term affordability for all families while attracting and retaining the best students—regardless of need.
Faculty & Staff Excellence

Faculty and staff receive financial support for professional development, including advanced degrees.

Our teachers, coaches and mentors are the hallmark of a St. Christopher’s education. Annual gifts to The St. Christopher’s Fund help us to recruit, reward and retain excellent educators.
Health & Wellness

We employ 3 full-time Chaplains and 3 full-time counselors to meet the boys' needs.

We promote an integrated and holistic approach to the well-being of every boy. Annual gifts to The St. Christopher’s Fund help provide resources that allow our health and wellness team to foster academic and personal success in our Saints by attending to their physical and emotional health needs.
Spiritual Life

Chapel services ground our boys in a common sense of belonging to something greater than themselves.

Through participation in chapel services and hands-on community collaborative projects, all our boys (JK-12) learn that they have the capacity, and responsibility, to help others. Annual gifts to The St. Christopher’s Fund help provide these opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.
Co-Curricular Learning Experiences

Boys in 5th, 8th, 9th and 12th grades experience overnight trips to bond with their classmates.

From community-building trips that create a tighter brotherhood to the exploration of new interests and ideas, annual gifts to The St. Christopher’s Fund help provide transformative learning experiences outside the classroom.
Arts & Athletics

St. Christopher's offers 21 performing arts groups and 49 athletic teams.

Our boys develop life skills such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, honor and integrity through their participation in arts and athletics. Annual gifts to The St. Christopher's Fund help provide opportunities for our boys to pursue excellence on the stage and field.
