Darius Gray '26 earned his second first-team all-state honor in basketball, as named by the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association. The senior also earned the honor last year after leading the Saints to the state quarterfinals.

The past two seasons Gray has led the Saints to 23-5 records and a state quarterfinal berth. He averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists per game, and is the third all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,746 points, surpassing current VCU standout Brandon Jennings '24 (1,391).

Gray is only the third player in school history to eclipse the 1500-point mark, joining Nick Sherod '16 (2,815) and Alexander Petrie '17 (2,017).
