The varsity swimming and diving team continued its streak, winning the program's ninth straight Prep League title Saturday, January 31.
Captain Ryan Smith '26 led the way, capturing three gold medals in the 50-yard freestyle and two relays, the 200 free (Ben Franks '27, Max Alger '26, Edward Johnson '26) and 200 medley (Matthew Matthews '27, Johnson, Franks). Smith also placed second in the 100 butterfly.
Grant Hewett '27 also had a strong meet, winning the 500 free and grabbing second in the 200 free and 400 free relay with John Ackerly '29, Alger and Townsend Sexton '27.
Alger grabbed two silvers in the 50 and 100 free. Levi Jones '27 took the diving competition with an impressive score of 416.6.
The team returns to action February 12-14 for the VISAA Championships in Richmond at Swim RVA (swimming) and St. Catherine's (diving).
