A valiant effort fell just short as the varsity tennis team gave Collegiate all it could handle before falling 5-4 Tuesday, April 21 on Senior Day.

The Saints started strong, winning at #1 (Gray Dion '28/Loch Macfarlane '27) and #2 doubles (Hayden Doyle '27/Crawford Barbour '30) for a 2-1 lead.

In singles, Barbour dispatched of his opponent quickly, winning 8-3, but the Cougars took singles matches 3 through 6 to secure the win. Dion's match at #1 was the last to end, and he was victorious 8-5.

Unfortunately, the Cape Henry match scheduled for Friday, April 24 was canceled, so the team is off until it travels to Woodberry Tuesday, April 28 for a 4 pm tilt.
