Hoops falls in opener
Cuts deficit to four late.
The varsity basketball team fell in its season opener 71-64 to Stuart Hall Wednesday, December 3 in Scott Gym.
The Saints trailed by as much as 15 points in the fourth period before a furious rally cut the advantage to four.
Stuart Hall settled in and hit its free throws down the stretch to keep the Saints at bay.
StC returns to action Friday, December 5 at Norfolk Academy for a 6 pm contest.
