XC places fourth at states
Nguyen '27 runs to all-state honor.
The cross country team place fourth at the VISAA state meet Thursday, November 6 at Panorama FIelds in Charlottesville.
LT Nguyen '27 led the way for StC, placing sixth overall in 16:28.5, earning all-state honors for the second year in a row.
Henry Russell '26 (17:25.5, 25) and Asher Green '26 (17:33.2, 26) were just below the top 20, all-state cut off.
Grayson Jones '28 came in 32nd in 17:44.2, and Asa White '28 also scored for StC in 18:13.5, placing 52nd.
Next year's group will certainly miss the leadership of captains Russell and Green, but the cupboard is not bare with young runners returning in 2026 that improved steadily through the season.
