The 4 x 800 team set a meet record in winning the state title, leading the Saints to a third-place finish in the state VISAA meet Saturday at Bolling Field House.
The quartet of Sean Menges '16, Ben Moore '15, Joey Cuevas '16 and Johnny Constable '15 ran 8:11.19 to beat a meet record set by Trinity Episcopal in 2012.
Brandon Thomas '16 had another strong meet, placing second in the long jump (22-2) and fourth in the 55 (6.61).
Joey Cuevas '16 ran a personal best 2:36.72 to take runner-up in the 1000.
Tazle Sumpter '16 placed third in shot put (54-1).
