Brandon Thomas '16 broke two school records, and nearly took down another, to lead the track team to a third-place finish at the Prep League meet Saturday.
Thomas set new school standards in the 55-meter dash (6.53) and 300 (34.68), and almost took down the long jump mark (22-2 1/4). Thomas finished second in the long jump and 300, and third in the 55; which shows the talent present at the 2015 meet.
The Saints had no Prep League champions, but had several runner-ups: Sean Menges - 500 (1:07.14) Joey Cuevas - 1000 (4:27.38) 4 x 200 relay (Ross Abrash, Mac Ukrop, Duncan Rogers, Cole Claiborne) - 1:34.80 4 x 400 relay (Brandon Thomas, Sean Menges, Cole Claiborne, Joey Cuevas) - 3:28.82 4 x 800 relay (Zeb Gordon, Philip Cros, Jack Jiranek, Johnny Constable) - 8:26.65 Tazle Sumpter - Shot put (54-0)
