Saints distance No. 2 finisher by almost 100 points.
The varsity wrestling team continued to make history, winning its 11th straight Prep League crown Saturday at Collegiate School.
Seven individual winners paced the near-100 point win: William Kelly '14 (106), William Cabell '13 (138), Robert Janis '13 (145), Tyler Cornett '12 (160), Quent Alcorn '12 (195), Marshall Hollerith '13 (220) and Tyler Anthony '14 (285).
It was the first Prep League titles for Kelly, Cabell, Cornett and Anthony; second for Janis, Alcorn and Hollerith.
Cornett's win was most impressive, knocking off Taylor Reuss of Woodberry Forest, the top-ranked wrestler in the state and second ranked in the country by National Preps.
Cornett was No. 2 in the latest state rankings and may take over the top spot.

John Fergusson '15 took home a bronze medal at 126 pounds, and Matt MacLeod got fourth at 120.
The Saints have a huge matchup with Liberty Christian Tuesday at 6 pm at STC.
