Luck Leadership Center Topping Out Ceremony

On a perfect spring day, the last beam was lowered into place on Luck Leadership Center. The school community came together to see this special event happen at a "Topping Out" ceremony. Alumnus Charlie Luck '79 spoke about the positive role that St. Christopher's has played in his life and the value of giving back to the school community.
Mr. Luck said the new building is about the future.  Speaking to the student body, Mr. Luck said, "we must make sure your leadership is ready to play at the highest level possible". He continued, saying "The Luck Leadership Center is a building, but more importantly a place for those developmental conversations, learning moments. The curriculum, learning and development around Leadership will move to an even higher level".

At the conclusion of the remarks the last steel beam was placed on the building. Earlier in the week students and faculty took time to sign the beam. Their signatures will be an everlasting presence in the Luck Leadership Center.

The Luck Leadership Center and Ryan Hall, the new dining facility, are slated to open in the winter of 2012.
