Charles Alexander ’82
2025 Recipient of Class of 1964 Service Award
The Class of 1964 Award is presented to an alumnus who “continues to serve others at some sacrifice to themselves.” There is no better example of this than from Charles Alexander ’82.
Ten years ago, Alexander received a letter from a classmate’s mother indicating he was mentally struggling. Alexander quietly (as is his nature) leapt into action by reaching out to his classmate, exemplifying St. Christopher’s Community Pillar of Community & Brotherhood. Up until this classmate’s passing earlier this year, Alexander maintained and valued the lifelong friendship that he formed with his brother Saint at StC. Alexander’s efforts inspired fellow ’82 alumni to reach out and support their brothers as needs arise.
