Darius Gray '26 earned his second basketball Prep League player of the year honor. The senior forward shared the award last year, but as a senior earned it outright. He was also named Prep League tournament MVP.

The past two seasons Gray has led the Saints to 23-5 records and a state quarterfinal berth. He averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists per game, and is the third all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,746 points, surpassing current VCU standout Brandon Jennings '24 (1,391).

Gray is only the third player in school history to eclipse the 1500-point mark, joining Nick Sherod '16 (2,815) and Alexander Petrie '17 (2,017).

Brady Burnette '27 earned his first All-Prep honor, throwing in 14 points per game with four rebounds and two assists. The 6-2 guard also earned Prep League All-Tournament team honors for the second straight year.

Damari Smith '29 also was named All-Prep after averaging 15 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

Coach Hamill Jones '00 earned Prep League coach of the year honors for the third consecutive year, leading the Saints to the league's regular season and tournament title for the first time in school history. It was the program's first tournament crown since 2000 when Jones was a senior captain for the Saints.
