Coming off a win at Norfolk Academy, on Wednesday December 10, VBB hosted Cristo Rey in Scott Gym and by the end of the fourth, walked away victorious 72-49. 

Darius Grey '26 stepped onto the court for the first time this season coming off an ankle injury. Similar to last season, he proved to be a valuable player for the Saints with 7 points even though playing with limited minutes.  

Damari Smith '29 also had a standout game scoring 22 points making 4 out of 5 of his three point attempts. 

With the victory, the Saints move to 2–1 and head into Friday’s home matchup against John Marshall (7 p.m., December 12) with plenty of momentum.
