Coders and Inventors! Are you ready to turn screen time into creation time after school? Join Ms. Warren—you'll design, code, and build them! This session transforms you into a Brilliant Builder and Creative Coders, teaching you how to use real technology to solve engineering problems. You'll master programming concepts and complete thrilling, hands-on challenges! Your Mission: Design, Build, and Program!
What you'll do: digital coding, Scratch, Kodable, Master block-based programming to create the complex logic, sequencing, and custom animations that power your inventions. Sphero & Indi Robots: Design physical mazes and structures, then program robots to navigate, run sequences, and complete custom missions. 3D fabrication: Glowforge using digital design skills to create files, then precisely build custom physical components from wood using a real laser cutter/engraver. Physical building: using Legos and recyclables and putting your engineering brain to work! Build and design creative settings, obstacles, and extensions for your robotic and electronic projects.
You'll explore a unique combination of great challenges and fun, leaving enrichment with true confidence in your ability to code, design, build, and innovate!
