Last weekend, the Saints travelled to Blairstown, NJ to compete in the Blair Academy Quad against St. Edward’s (OH), Blair Academy (NJ), and Lake Highland Prep (FL). While the Saints did not win overall against any of the competitors, they still picked up a number of individual matches, and found success against a slate of challenging, highly-ranked opponents. St. Edward’s is ranked #18 in the United States, Lake Highland #4, and Blair Academy #3.
The team also travelled to J. R. Tucker High School in Henrico, and found great success at the Jay Cox Memorial Tournament. Justin Hires ‘26 picked up a win at 150, Jac Clary ‘27 won a match at 157, and Dylan Houchins ‘28 won twice at 144. Finally, Banks Lambeth-Butler ‘28 took home silver for the Saints, placing 2nd overall at 175.
This upcoming weekend, the Saints will travel to both the Escape the Rock Tournament at Council Rock HS (PA) and the Midlothian Trojan War Duels at Midlothian HS in Chesterfield.
