On Wednesday, January 7th, 9th grade Basketball beat Steward 52-51.
The Saints started the game down 10-2 and worked there way back managing to go up as much as 9 points.
Key players include Gabe Wyatt who accounted for 18 points including 4 three pointers and Avery Peay who put up 11 points.
"I am proud of how the boys competed. Steward was a very well-coached group, and played extremely well. We struggled from the free-throw line. More success there could've made the win much more comfortable. We have some things to work on in practice, but it is always good to do that off of a win." - Coach Lewis on the team's performance and win.

The 9th grade basketball team continues to be undefeated now holding a record of 3-0 and plays their next game against Varina on Friday, January 9th at 6:00.
