8-run first halts Cougars
Reinhart '13, Partee '15 go deep.
The varsity baseball team scored eight runs in the first inning en route to a dominant 16-4 victory at Collegiate Tuesday.
Captain Porter Reinhart '13 went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBI. Sam Partee '15 was 2 for 4 with a HR and a double.
Cody Valenzuela went the whole six innings giving up two hits for the win. StC belted out 17 hits.
The Saints will cap their series with the Cougars Friday at home at 4:30 pm.
