The varsity baseball team dropped its first game of the season 4-2 to public school Manchester Saturday afternoon.

Despite surrendering only one hit, four Lancers crossed the plate taking advantage of StC miscues.

Worth Osgood '12 had a good day on the mound, giving up one hit in 5 2/3 innings, but walked some Lancers.

Manchester got a great game from pitcher Jackson Lane with 11 strikeouts, giving up four hits to the Saints' powerful lineup.

StC will start a two-gamer with Trinity Episcopal at home Tuesday, April 3 at 4:30 pm, looking to get back into the win column.
