Baseball enjoys weekend

Saints top Steward, Greenbrier in consecutive days.
The varsity baseball team is off to a 4-0 start after halting Steward 11-4 Friday, and Greenbrier Christian 6-4 Saturday.

Both games were on the road.

Friday, Tyler Yeatts '12 picked up seven strikeouts in six innings of work, while going 3 for 5 at the dish with two RBI. Jack English '13 gathered three RBI in a 3-for-4 performance and followed up the next day with a two-run home run in the win over Greenbrier.

Porter Reinhart '13 hit GC three times in three opportunities, scoring two runs, and Matt Dunlevy '14 had a 3-for-3 performance as well with two RBI.

STC is now an impressive 4-0 and has a week of practice time before Clover Hill visits Saturday, March 24. It is one of many games this season against tough public school competition.
