The varsity wrestling team continued its solid performance on the invitational circuit, finishing sixth in the Millbrook Mayhem Tournament over the weekend.

Leading the way was junior sensation Robert Janis, who claimed second at 145 pounds. Coming home with a bronze medal was the much-improved William Kelly (106).

Jacob Hale '15 (113) and Tyler Cornett '12 (160) grabbed fourth place, while William Cabell '13 (138) had a nice fifth-place showing.

"All of our guys won matches and scored points," coach John Gordon said. "Our kids are continuing to be battle tested in preparation for the Prep League and are weathering it in a way that we are proud of."

Up next are the Virginia Duals Jan. 13-14 at the Hampton Coliseum.
