Outfielder and William & Mary commit Porter Reinhart '13 earned a spot in the Area Code Baseball Games, a prestigious showcase for players to perform in front of pro scouts in a week-long tournament.

Reinhart will play for the Nationals in the event that began Sunday, August 5. Reinhart and the Nationals hit the field Monday, August 6 at Noon (EST) and on Tuesday, August 7, his Nationals team will play on ESPN3 at 5:30 pm (EST) against the Athletics.

The event is held at Blair Field in Long Beach, Calif., with eight regional teams consisting of the top players in the United States from the class of 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Reinhart is the only player from the Richmond area in the showcase, making the team at a tryout at Nationals Stadium in June.
