Senior Andre Aganbi was a two-year starter at the all-important left tackle position. He helped anchor an offensive line that surrendered only 21 sacks on 261 passing attempts, and cleared the way for a running game that averaged 5.6 yards per carry.
Senior Thompson Brown was one of two players to make the team on both offense and defense, the other being league MVP Andre Parker (Fork Union). Brown caught 21 passes for 299 yards and a team-leading 4 touchdowns. Despite having teams consistently run away from his side, he finished second on the team with 93 total tackles (51 solo, 29 assisted, 4 for a loss, and a team-leading 9 sacks). He caused 6 fumbles, deflected 2 passes, and reeled in one interception.
Junior Blair Fairnholt led the team in receiving with 35 catches for 446 yards (12.7 yards/rec.) . He has been elected as one of the team’s captains for the 2011 season.
Senior Brody Hingst led the team (perhaps the League) in total tackles with 106 – including 59 solo tackles, 45 assists, 1 tackle for a loss and 1 sack. He caused 2 fumbles and recovered another. He had 4 pass deflections.
Senior Patrick Martin, a two-year starter at wide receiver, stepped into a starting cornerback role this season. He was third on the team in solo tackles (31), second in pass deflections (7), and led the team with 6 interceptions.
Junior Julius Moore was among the elite cover corners in the league with 4 interceptions and a team-leading 11 pass deflections. He added 21 solo tackles and 15 assists.
Senior Rob Vozenilek completed 119 of 238 passes for 1624 yards and 12 touchdowns. He ran the ball 145 times for 912 yards (6.3 yard avg.) and 14 touchdowns. Thus, he accounted for 2536 yards of total offense and 75% of the team’s 34 touchdowns.
