Saints complete hard-earned comeback against Trinity
by Logan Coleman '26
Following the win away at STAB, JV Baseball looked to continue its winning ways against Trinity at home on Tuesday, April 29. However, the 1st inning showed how this wasn't going to be easy.
By the time Henry Rotter '28 was getting ready to lead off for the Saints, Trinity had already scored 8 runs in the top of the 1st. The Saints, however, did not give up and cut into the lead, getting 5 runs past the Titans. For most of the game, both teams' pitching and defense tightened up, as the Saints were not able to capitalize on men on base, and runs came in sparsely for each team. The bottom of the 6th inning saw the Saints complete their comeback against Trinity, finally batting in the runners on base and winning 11-10.
After this victory, the Saints would then play CVA Homeschool away, Wednesday, April 30.
