Senior attack Grant Johnson will continue his lacrosse career at Christopher Newport. 

Arguably the fastest and quickest player the Saints have, Johnson is excited about heading to Newport News. 

"I chose the school because I like the really small class sizes," Johnson said before practice Wednesday. "I think it's going to fit me well, similar to St. Chris."

Teammate Jacob Hale '15 is also heading to the Capital Athletic Conference school. Johnson (5 goals, 1 assist this season) has battled a back injury, taking a weapon away from coach John Burke and the Saints.

He may be able to return for the state tournament next week.
