To kickoff the 100 Days of Service, St. Christopher's Upper and Middle school students joined forces to pack 170 Hero Boxes. The Hero Boxes were sent to American service members serving around the globe.
The student advisories collected items for weeks to help fill the boxes. Also, included in each box were letters written from the students expressing their gratitude to the service members. St. Christopher's also invited back veterans to help the students pack the boxes and let the students know how appreciative the soldiers will be of this donation. The 100 Days of Service are just starting up! Don't miss this great opportunity to make an impact in your community!
UPDATE: The Hero Boxes are beginning to be received by the soldiers stationed around the world. Mr. Stillwell received an email from a naval officer stationed in Afghanistan thanking the school community for their generous donations and letters.
