Wednesday, February 6 was national signing day and six of our seniors signed to participate in athletics on the collegiate level. Luke Erickson and Charlie McCann will both be playing ACC baseball next fall. Left-handed pitcher / outfielder Luke Erickson will join the Hokies, alongside Austin Wates ’07 at Virginia Tech. Charlie McCann, a standout pitcher will play for Boston College, following in the footsteps of St. Christopher’s alumnus Andrew Lawrence ’07. All Prep C.J. Williams has committed to playing tennis at Virginia Commonwealth University. Robert Barry, Backstroke state champion and school record holder, will be swimming at Denison University. Joe Munno is a two time State Champion in the Virginia Independent School Wrestling Association and will wrestle at Virginia Military Institute. Joining Munno at VMI is All-Metro linebacker Richard Luck; he will play football for the Keydets and be the third generation in his family to attend both St. Christopher’s and VMI.
