Varsity lacrosse team builds wheelchair ramps for those in need
Team partnered with Ramps RVA to help two women with mobility
Last weekend varsity lacrosse coaches John Burke and Sherman Horner took a large group of the team to build wheelchair ramps for people in our community who need them to get in and out of their homes.
Coach Burke sent a note to the lacrosse families, stating, "I don't think I've ever been more proud of a group of boys than I was {Saturday morning} as we helped build wheelchair ramps for two women who otherwise had great difficulty getting out of their homes. Jack Gillenwater and Michael Chapman organized the event that helped give us all an excellent perspective of what's important in life."
