Hayden Mitchell '17 is the latest Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Award nominee from St. Christopher's School, the sixth young man to receive the honor.

Mitchell is the Week 24 nominee. Jackson Barkstrom '17 (Week 1), Tanner Hood '17 (Week 5), James Armstrong (Week 11), Frost Wood (Week 15) and Edward Anderson (Week 22) were the others.

Mitchell is a first-team All-Metro, All-State and All-Prep record-setting wide receiver for the football team. He has accepted a walk-on spot to Virginia's football team. He also excels in baseball as a utility player capable of playing behind the plate, in the infield or outfield. 

Academically, Mitchell is not too shabby, either. The William and Mary Leadership Award Winner carries at 4.1 grade-point average. He's a member of the Honor Council and Saints for Social Justice, and also heads up Saturday Academy at StC, a program for at-risk youth to receive tutoring and mentorship.
