Edward Anderson '17 is the latest Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Award nominee from St. Christopher's, the fifth young man to receive the honor.
Anderson is the Week 22 nominee. Jackson Barkstrom '17 (Week 1), Tanner Hood '17 (Week 5), James Armstrong (Week 11) and Frost Wood (Week 15) were the others.
Anderson carries a 4.5 grade-point average and scored a 1460 out of 1600 on his SATs. The Dartmouth Book Award winner spends countless hours volunteering, having spent time at Berkeley Plantation, and helped out Caritas through Second Presbyterian Church and Reveille Methodist Church.
His true passion is biking and cycling, where Anderson works to build and maintain trails throughout the James River Park System with rvaMORE.
He also rides those and many other paths successfully, having won the NICA mountain biking Virginia championships in the fall, going unbeaten in four races. This past winter, Anderson earned a spot on the prestigious Axeon Hagens Berman U23 international cycling team.
