The Middle School Arts Program offers drama, music, visual art, and woodworking. Every boy takes general music, art, and woodworking in either sixth or seventh grade; these courses are offered as electives in eighth grade. Performance opportunities are offered in choir, band, strings, and drama. Band and String Ensemble students collaborate with the students from St. Catherine’s for performances. Fifth and sixth grade boys can perform in a December musical with the St. Catherine's girls, and seventh and eighth grade boys can perform in a March musical with the St. Catherine's girls. In their classes, boys have opportunities to express their creativity, both individually and collaboratively, through performances, composition, and studio production. Through collaboration and engagement in the creative process, the boys master techniques to become better performers and artists, and they learn the value of teamwork.
