Seniors James Busch, Farrar Pace, Nick Richardson, Jamie Ball, and Stephen Wood established an early lead and pulled away from the field at the mile and half point. Despite mid-summer temperatures, the team stayed in a pack throughout the race, but Busch and Pace duked it out the last 400 meters to claim gold and silver medals. This is the first team title for St. Christopher’s at the Maymont event. The Saints Varsity travels to Woodberry Forest School on Friday for a re-match with the Tigers.
