Midfielder Fleet Wallace '15 committed to Cornell's lacrosse program recently. 

The 6-2 Wallace is having a great season for the 10-3 Saints thus far, scoring 17 goals for the third-ranked team in the state.

"It was kind of a long process," Wallace said. "I'm excited to find a really great school."

Wallace had other quality suitors, including the University of Richmond, but the Big Red presented an opportunity he couldn't pass up.

"I really liked Ithaca when I went up there. It was a really cool town to visit. All the coaches and players I met were really nice and cool. It seemed like a great place to be."

The class of 2015 is off to a roaring start when it comes to college athletic commitments. Football cornerback Garrett Taylor (Michigan) and lacrosse defender Parker Widhelm (Furman) have also picked Division I schools.
