Indoor reigns supreme

First state title since 2019.
The indoor track and field team dominated the VISAA meet en route to the program's first state crown since the 2019 season. Coach Marshall Ware '81 was named state coach of the year in the process.

It was a comprehensive victory as the Saints received points from a myriad of positions, starting with the Most Outstanding Runner of the meet, Maddox White '26. He took two state titles in the 55- and 300-meter dash.

The sophomores weren't done as Victor Olesen '26 won the pole vault in 16-4.75, and Asher Green '26 placed second and third in the 3200 and 1600, respectively. George Julias '26 popped a career-best long jump going 21-7.5, good for third place.

Jayden Brown '25 was runner-up in the 55 hurdles, and so were the 4x200 and 4x800 relay teams. Henry Omohundro '24 earned a bronze in shot put.

Briggs Ireland '24 was his versatile self, getting fourth in the 55 hurdles and high jump. Henry Rice '25 got fourth in the triple jump.
