Coming off a blowout win at home against FUMA, the Saints took to a hostile environment on the road to take on their rival Collegiate Cougars. They ended up taking a big 62-39 win, moving their record to 16-4 on the year and 4-1 in the league.
Early on, Kellen Welch '24 led the way for the Saints' offense, scoring eight first-quarter points, including hitting two shots from behind the arc. Going into the second half, St. Christopher's held a 32-19 lead.
In the second half, things continued just as well for St. Christopher's. They stretched their lead over thirty points, and they settled for a twenty-three-point victory at the end. Brandon Jennings '24 once again had a big night, scoring eighteen points alongside three blocks.
The next action for the Saints is on Saturday, January 27 when they take on North Cross at home.
