Hoops falls at JM

Ranked #2 in the country, Justices too much.
The varsity basketball team fell 100-58 at John Marshall Wednesday, February 15. It was a big task for the Saints, as the Justices are now 22-0 and ranked second nationally by MaxPreps.

Jayem jumped out to a 20-3 lead before StC got its engine out of neutral. The Saints battled back and were down seven, 29-22 early in the second period. The frenetic pace soon wore down StC as the Justices forced 24 turnovers and scored 46 points on the fast break.

Brandon Jennings '24 played well, scoring a team-high 16 points, including a thunderous one-hand poster slam over a Jayem defender. Sonny Bridges '25 put in 15 points, and Darius Gray had seven points and 10 boards.

The Saints will return to Prep League action Friday, February 17 at Collegiate in the regular-season finale for both teams.
