The Saintss 7th grade football team had an amazing start to the season with a 38-26 win over Buford Wednesday, September 28.

EJ Johnson was a key factor for their win with the electric game. He had a total of four touchdowns, two rushing, 1 receiving and a punt return.

The Saints were also very consistent with their 2-point conversions with a total of 4 by Toney Smith, Gibson Beck, James Carney and Matthew Hingst with one each. The Saints were also able to pick up a defensive touchdown by Beck.

Coach Lewis responded after the win by saying: "We were very pleased with the team's performance. You never know what to expect in a first game, but the boys played hard and responded to adjustments. We are so happy for them."
