Nate Broughton '22 did not waste any time announcing his return to the pitch.

The 6-1, 165-pound midfielder scored in the 16th and 32nd minute to lead the varsity soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Bishop O'Connell Monday, November 8.

The Saints advance to face Collegiate, the top seed, for the third time this season, in the VISAA semifinals at City Stadium Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 pm.

Broughton had been out with a concussion, and obviously his return was a big boost to StC's offense.

As the Knights pushed forward in the second half, trying to slice its deficit in half, Greyson DiCosmo '24 beat BOC's keeper to a ball, eluded and hit an open net for a 3-0 lead in the 73rd minute.

Now the Saints and Broughton have another shot at the rival Cougars, losing 2-0 in its friendly before tying at 0 a few weeks later.
