Chase Mullins '21 was named All-Metro lacrosse player of the year recently.

The UNC-bound face-off specialist dominated competition all year, en route to Prep League, VISAA and now All-Metro POY. Mullins racked up wins in 207 of the 237 faceoffs he saw in 2021. He played in two all-star games, including the Under Armour All-American Game, in which he earned MVP honors with 27 face-off wins.

Mullins was joined on the first team by Spalding Hall '21 and Kent Goode '22.

Hall is headed to High Point and coach John Burke said he was the most disruptive defender he's coached in his 32 years at the helm. Hall grabbed 90 ground balls and caused 53 turnovers in 2021.

Goode is also a UNC commit, and had huge shoes to fill between the pipe following All-American Walker Wallace '20 (Cornell).

He did more than hold his own, setting a school record with a 74% save percentage while stopping 151 shots.
