2019 All-Metro Outdoor Track Rankings
Omohundro '19, Smith '20, 4x800 relay team make the rankings.
2019 Outdoor Track All-Metro
Indoor track All-Metro athlete of the year Elby Omohundro '19 and mid-distance stalwart Ian Smith '20 led the Saints in the 2019 All-Metro outdoor track rankings.
Omohundro made the rankings in four events: high jump (6-4, 3rd), long jump (22-9 1/4, 4th), triple jump (47-2 1/4, 6th), pole vault (13-6, 6th). The Virginia pledge led StC to the Prep League and VISAA outdoor titles scoring over 50 points in each event.
Smith finished ranked second in the area in the 800 (1:52.93) and 7th in the 400 (49.36). Smith also paced the 4x800 relay team to a time of 8:13.05, good for 8th overall in the rankings, with William Tune '20, Johnny Whitlock '20 and Hank Valentine '20.
*The top eight performers in the Richmond-area in each event are listed in the All-Metro rankings.
