Ben Cooper '19 was named the Richmond Times-Dispatch/Sports Backers scholar-athlete of the month for April 2019.

Cooper held a 3.9 grade-point average before graduating from StC, and achieved honors or high honors in each semester of high school. He was also the co-head of the peer advising program.

Athletically, Cooper will golf at the University of Richmond and was a five-year varsity starter for the Saints going back to 8th grade. He was the Prep League player of the year this season, made all-state and finished April ranked as the No. 2 golfer in the VISAA. Cooper was the medalist in seven matches this season.

Cooper was also a standout soccer player for the Saints.
