Joe Beck '19 designated as Semifinalist for U.S. Presidential Scholars program
The program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, designates only 600 Semifinalists nationwide each year.
Congratulations to Joe Beck ‘19 who was designated as a Semifinalist for the U.S. Presidential Scholars program sponsored by the United States Department of Education. According to Upper School Academic Dean and Director of College Counseling Jim Jump, there are only about 600 students designated nationally, only sixteen from Virginia named as Semifinalists, and only two from independent schools in the state. Congratulations on this special honor, Joe!
