Turley '19 All-Metro Wrestler of the Year

Jackson Turley leaves St. Christopher's as a national champion, and is the RTD wrestler of the year

Jackson Turley '19 is the 2019 All-Metro wrestler of the year. Turley is the first Saint to achieve the award since Tyler Spangler '09 in 2008.

Turley won VISAA and National Prep titles in his senior season, and is signed with Rutgers to continue his wrestling career. He blew through the VISAA competition, winning the title match in 48 seconds at 182 pounds.

Erik Roggie '21 joined Turley on the All-Metro first team. He was the VISAA champ at 106 pounds, and was also an All-American at National Preps, placing second.

UNC-bound Connor Alexander '19, Mason Dubois '21 and Jake Keeling '21 each made the second team.  Alexander was a National Preps runner-up, and a four-time All-American. Keeling and Dubois also won state VISAA titles in 2019.
