Struggles On Offense Lead to Senior Night Loss to Cougars

By William McDermott '20
It was an emotional night for Saints players, fans, and coaches as it was senior Arnold Henderson's final regular season home game. Henderson has been part of the varsity squad since his sophomore year and will be headed to VCU next year as a PWO (Perferred Walk On). Henderson does everything right and had a lot of leadership on his hands this season as he became the only remaining senior and the sole captain. Henderson put the majority of his effort, work, and time into being a phenomenal student-athelete at St. Christopher's.

After the senior night sheneanigans, it was time for the game to begin. The Saints eventually fell 51-45. Henderson led the Saints in scoring with 11 points, however, the Saints really struggled to get the ball inside and shot 31% from the field. The Saints will next face Woodberry Forest at home on Tuesday in the first round of the Prep League Tournament, the Semifinals and Finals will be hosted by the Saints.
