Lacrosse Bested by St. John's

Tightly Contested Game Doesn't Go In Saints' Favor.
On Wednesday, April 4th, St. Christopher's Varsity Lacrosse fell to St. John's College High School out of Washington, DC by a final score of 10 to 9.

The game was close for its entire duration, with plenty of shots on frame from both teams as well as impressive defensive stops. Luke Valentine '19 started things off for the Saints by scoring within the first four minutes of the game, and STC was able to build up a three goal lead in the first half. Hartley Jordan '17 led the way offensively, providing multiple goals and notching a long range rip just before halftime. The game came down to the last few minutes, where the Saints high powered offense was locked down on its final two possessions by a very talented St. John's defense.

St. Christopher's moves to 4-3 on the season following the loss, and their next matchup comes on April 10th, against perennial power St. Stephen's-St. Agnes.
