Reggie Gordon speaks in Upper School chapel

Mr. Reggie Gordon, Director of the Office of Community Wealth Building, encouraged boys to think of combating poverty in new ways.
Mr. Reggie Gordon returned to St. Christopher's for the second time this year to speak to boys about their role in combating poverty in the City of Richmond. During his remarks, Mr. Gordon said, "we need to move from a community that looks at {outreach} as charity to a community that works on economic development."

Mr. Gordon then took questions from the students and faculty.

Mr. Gordon first visited StC back in January along with Mayor Levar Stoney to speak at an event on our campus timed in conjunction with Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
