On Monday, Oct. 23 following a talk from Director of Community and Inclusion Shawn Moore, the Upper School student body and faculty formally recognized the two international students who are a part of the community this year.

Max Nabakow '19 stood as faculty member Emmett Carlson pointed to the German flag that hangs above the sophomore section of pews. The flag represents Max's presence at the school, as well as previous exchange students from Germany. 

Mr. Carlson held the flag of Somaliland, the home country of Mohamed Ismacil '18. Mohamed stepped forward, took the flag and hung it above the freshman section of pews.
