Saints Score Early to Defeat STAB

The Saints defeated St. Anne's-Belfield 3-1 on Saturday in a well-attended game during the STC Fall Festival.
The Saints were able to jump on St. Anne's-Belfield early with three goals within the first 12 minutes, which included a goal by Miller Farley '18, a header by Lyon Tyler '18, and a final goal by Warner Collier '20, who blocked a clearance kick to score the Saints third goal. The Saints held onto this lead for the duration of the game with great defensive effort with only one goal allowed for STAB in the 75th minute.
The Saints will next face Benedictine at home on Tuesday at 4:30 as they try and imporve on their record of 15-1-1.
