Virginia Secretary of Administration Nancy Rodriguez visits Middle School boys

Rodriguez, a member of the governor's cabinet, spoke to support Global Thinking program's "Changing the Role of Women in Society" unit
Virginia Secretary of Administration Nancy Rodriguez spoke to sixth grade boys this week about her life experiences as a first-generation American and her career in public service. Secretary Rodriguez told the boys, "the best part of my job, is that I get to spend time with Virginia's future." Rodriguez, who is one of 12 secretaries on Governer Terry McAullife's cabinet, spoke with pride about coming from humble beginnings. "How I got to where I am today...I came to this job by studying very hard....knowing that I could make a difference in the world...and I had a lot of faith in that."

Thank you, Secretary Rodriguez, for visiting St. Christopher's and helping to expand the boys' perspective.
